France - Hauteford to Chauvigny

You can climb right up into the tower. The building plans for the tower are really interesting. It was originally constructed with no roof but covered with the dome shaped roof in 1678. All of the chateau's roof structure was made of wood then before the fire destroyed it in 1968. The roof structure of the Chapel Tower and the Tower of Brittany are the only remaining relics.
